This is the first edition for The Essential Workbook for SAT Math Level 2, so I expect to find many places for revision and improvement in each chapter. I have used this book to prepare some of my students for SAT Math Level 2 tests during the summer break, and I reckon it is good enough to be published for the first edition.
As all students who prepare for SAT Mathematics Level 2 test would presumably know, the test covers all materials in SAT Mathematics Level 1 test, along with trigonometry and some precalculus matherials. Here is how the contents of SAT Math Level 2 test are organized.
¡¤ Algebra and Functions(35-40%) : Expressions, Equations, Inequalities, Representation and Modeling, Properties of Functions
¡¤ Geometry and Mesurement(35-40%) : 2D Geometry, 3D Geometry, and Trigonometry
¡¤ Data Analysis, Statistics and Probability(10-15%) : Descriptive Statistics, Graphs and Plots, Regressions, and Probability
¡¤ Number and Operations(5-10%) : Binary Operations, Ratio and Proportion, Complex Numbers, Counting, Elementary Number Theory, Matrices, Sequence and Series, Vectors
I attempted to cover all materials with specific topic titles, most of which would be reiterated in the mini-tests for review purposes. The only part that is missing from this book is the regression part, which I intend to cover in The Essential Guide to SAT Math Level 2. I hope this workbook helps those students in need.
