The colors suggested by NSDS for COVER ALL Vol.07 ¡°Flexibility¡± are neutral and clearly emphasize individual colors to ensure the flexible adaptability required to adjust and survive new environments and changes and that boldly escape the traditional formulaic methodology. These are colors with distinct personalities that are equivocal, simultaneously light and heavy, and capable of expressing and being sensitive to the new appeals of digital media by breaking away from the one-dimensional sensitivity of primary colors as the medium of content planning and expression shifts from print to digital and media.
Rather than focusing on RGB colors individually, we focused on subtle changes by influencing each other. Thus, these colors seemingly emphasize calmness as they are more neutral than primary colors while also becoming neutral from the influence of white, black, or gray or toned down in some ways. But we did not neglect to actively respond to new changes, appropriately blending acidic colors that sometimes stand out and fluorescent colors that flutter lightly.
Extensively proposed colors were chosen strategically to express ¡°Flexibility¡± as very minutely altered neutral tones with overall tones being not too dark or dull.
